I've got a Thinkpad X41 with an IBM 64 GB SSD made for that model. It's fast to boot, and fast for almost everything. The original used a 1.8 inch hard drive, so the SSD is a huge improvement.

Loading big applications seems slow only because everything else is so fast. I'm really liking the small size and long battery life of the computer. I think SSD is good news for eCS users.
