Sprinter / Ritmo Lan.Server (NAS)
Mark: Good This NAS device is available in Australia via a number of different importers who add their own name to it (Sprinter / Ritmo etc.).
It is either sold containing a drive or as a case to take any standard 3.5" EIDE drive (I believe some models now take SATA drives).
One restriction is the fact that this drive uses FAT32 to format the drive, rather than NTFS or HPFS meaning your partition sizes are limited by the file system.
Access from OS/2 is possible using Netdrive and the samba plugin. It may also be posssible using the native samba client code that comes with eCS 2.0, I haven't tried it yet. I wasn't able to get these devices to work with the standard netbeui in OS/2.
